Title: ICED
Series: Boston Terriers Hockey
Author: Jacob Chance
Genre: Sports Romance
Release Date: November 1, 2019
Oliver Ice, one of Boston University’s notorious hockey players, has been on my radar since I slammed into his rock-hard body during my first week of college, three years ago. He helped me to my feet, muttered an apology, and ran off after his girlfriend, dashing my hopes of a happily ever after.
Now, he’s the bartender where I work, and this time, very much single. Night after night I watch the tall, broad, and sexy right winger mixing drinks and being Mr. Personality, while I remind myself how horribly my last relationship ended.
But when Oliver overhears a private conversation, he offers to be the one thing I need more than anything-- my pretend boyfriend at a dreaded family reunion.
One weekend was all it was meant to be.
How do I protect my fragile heart when the lines between fantasy and reality blur with our first kiss?

My review
Just a note to say that I have not read book 1 in this series and even though some characters popped in who I imagine are from other books I was able to enjoy the book without reading the others.
This is a really sweet book. Both characters are kind hearted and nice and even though they have both been through a rough patch neither are whiney and annoying which is a really refreshing change. You want these guys to have a happy ending because they totally deserve each other and happiness.
There is a really great balance in this book of interesting storyline, getting to know the characters and of course some steam. Even though the hockey/college storyline has been written about a lot this still felt fresh and different.
I have to say I have become a fan of the authors writing style and want to read moredand recommend you take a chance on Oliver and Ava's story.
