Author: Charity Ferrell
Genre: New Adult/Enemies to Lovers Romance
Release Date: March 26, 2019

Every day, my neighbor tells me to have a good morning.
Every day, I tell him to f*ck off.
Kyle Lane is the town’s hottest cop.
He’s also the man I’ve despised since high school.
He’s made it his life’s mission to get under my skin.
Each morning, he stands on his porch with an annoying smirk on his perfect face.
Until one day, he’s no longer on his porch, but on mine.
He claims he wants to redeem himself for ruining my life.
My instincts tell me to stay away, but with each morning he shows up, it becomes harder and harder to resist his charm.
He thinks he has me right where he wants me, but there’s just one problem: you’re not supposed to fall in love with your enemy.

My Review
This book is my first from this author and therefore my first in the series. I felt like it was fine to start here but I am intrigued to go back to read the story of Kyle's best friend when I have time.

This book was almost a 5* read for me but there were just a few moments that kept it from getting there but still it was a great read that had an excellent combination of humor, angst, alphaness romance and deeply moving scenes that honestly had me in tears.

I have to advise that it takes a few chapters to get the whole back story between Kyle and Chloe but stick with it things become clearer.

This story wasn't just a shallow romance. There are certainly layers that were difficult to read not because they were written badly but because of the subject matter and because of how well they were written I felt like I was right there.

I am glad I took a chance on this book and look forward to more from this author.
