He was faithful, until he wasn’t.
She was honest, until first touch…
And against all that is pure and noble, they fell in love.
Warning: This is not one of those novels where the characters’ actions are justified. It is merely a story about two people--two flawed humans--who fall in love under forbidden circumstances. It is intended for audiences 18+ years of age due to explicit sexual content.
I'm a born and bred Coloradan. While I now reside in Virginia, the land of the Rocky Mountains is where I've left a piece of my heart and where my characters come to life. I started writing love stories when I was seventeen, and I haven't been able to stop! With me, you'll find that I dabble in a few different romance genres, but my voice is one that's all about the heart. Writing is my dream; and as a dreamer, you can rest assured that there are many more novels in my head that I can hardly wait to share.

My Review
I am so conflicted when it come to my review of this book and not because the writing isn't amazing but because of the theme. I didn't know what the book was about, all I knew is it was not going to be my usual read. I usually stay clear of books about cheating but I love this author so I thought I would give it a go and I was not disappointed.
Despite what they do you can not help but love the characters and want to see them happy. Michael is the type of guy you only ever hope to meet except he is married and Blaine is finding her feet and dealing with a few tough life issues and when they meet they have that once in a lifetime connection that we all dream of.
I was fighting with myself the whole time. I wanted them happy but it went against everything I believe.
Sometimes I can read a book in one night I just can't put it down. This book was not like that. It took me a few days to get through it. That does not mean I wasn't hooked it just means I would need a break from my emotional war. I would continue to think about Michael and Blaine even when I wasn't reading Heartless. I say that is a sign of a great story.
This is a deep, emotional story with the ending it should have. There will be times when you think you can't take any more but I encourage you if you give this book a go you need to see it through.
