My Review

I have really been getting into my sports romance books lately and it is all because of this book. It was so unique in that the main females character, Adelaide, is not only Australian (yeah) but also is on the Autism spectrum. The way she thinks and talks is not only interesting but can also be hilarious. I really have to give the author credit for all the research she must have put into this book because nearly every time Adelaide spoke she would go in depth on the topic. I felt like I learnt a lot while reading the book. The author stayed true to Adelaide's character throughout the book which I really appreciated, she didn't just use her Autism when it suited. By the end I really felt I understood a lot about Adelaide.
But back to the story. Adelaide flies to the U.S. to go to College and stays with two childhood friends. Ender was particularly close to Adelaide as children and their old friendship rekindles. Ender helps Adelaide with her social skills and she helps him with his tennis. Of course one thing leads to another etc etc but the way the story gets the two main characters there is a bit different.
Along the way there are a huge amount of laughs and plenty of moving moments and let's not forget some very steamy sex scenes thank you very much.
This book is light on the tennis so if you hate the game you should not be put off. I would suggest if you are tired of the same old romance novels where everyone is perfect all the time then you should give this one a go.  I thoroughly enjoyed this and I am now off rocker books for a while and loving my sports romance.
