Review:
What can i say about this book. There was a lot to like about it, such as the chemistry between Casey and Matthew, that was spot on and very hot. I loved the premise about how she won the lottery, it was a great way to turn a horrible moment into a great moment. I like that both characters had been working class and worked their way up in the world, Casey has some help witht the lottery but she went on from there to make an empire. I also thought the author nailed the emotional side of their relationship too. Casey had moments of jealousy and rage and heartbreak and they were all conveyed really well. There were also some things to not like about this book though and i want to be honest about that. There were times when i felt bogged down with details that didn't seem at all important. I just wanted the book to move along a bit faster and flow a bit more smoothly. At times i was so frustrated with the pace and general length of the book.
To finish off though, i will be certain to grab book 2 when it comes out as it was left on a cliffhanger and regardless of my above gripe there was more good than bad and i really really need to know what is going to happen next. I would suggest you go in reading this book with an open mind, fall for the amazingly sexy Matthew Jackson and not focus on the negatives and you will enjoy this book and be lining up to buy the next one too.
