Beautiful Broken Bad Boys. Jo Raven's Inked Brotherhood Series
Ok, well if you don't like swearing, violence and hot sex in your books then this series is not for you. If you do like the above mentioned things then keep reading.
I'm not sure how i stumbled onto this series but boy am i glad that i did. The series actually starts with a prequel that you can get free from Amazon called Kiss me goodbye and it sets up book 1 Asher. You don't have to read the prequel but hey it's free so you might as well.
Book two is based on Asher's brother Tyler. Book three and my favourite is Zane. Book four is Dylan and due soon for release is Book five and the last in the series Rafe. Stay tuned to this page for the cover reveal on March 7th.
I can't reccommend these books enough. The stories are all different but run along a similar theme. These young boys have all endured heart breaking abuse, phsical and mental. At times it's hard to read and i would hold my breath. They are all joined together in this brotherhood by Zane. He keeps and eye on everyone even though he himself is barely holding it together. They all feel unworthy of the love that comes their way and fight hard agaisnt it. Enter strong your female love interest. Each book contains a girl who has also gone through her fair share of tough luck but they are brave and strong and they fight the boys till the end to get a happily ever after they all deserve.
I'm not going to sugar coat this, the boys are broken and some of their stories while i know are fiction are still upsetting. Author Jo Raven has written these books so that you feel like you are there with the characters so when they are going through a painful moment you feel it too.
The book is set around Zane's tattoo shop. Jo Raven has now started a spin off series that focuses on the boys that work in the tattoo parlor. They are also broken and book one Micah was very sweet and sad. I'm really looking forward to reading that series as the books are released.
If you are looking for something a bit different to read that has an edge i suggest you check out this series.
