My Review

This book is a very quick, enjoyable read. I have read book one, An Honest Mistake with the yummy Cobra. You also get to know Champ and Lauren in book one too.  I have not yet read book two The Last Betrayal which is Champ and Lauren's book. In saying that I didn't feel at all lost skipping ahead to book 2.5. There were a few references to things that happened but they were explained enough that I got the idea of what happened in book 2.
Champ and Lauren are now living together and are getting ready for Christmas. Lauren is a strong personality which Champ loves but he also has to be the dominant, especially in the eyes of the other Club members. Lauren oversteps her boundary a few times and Champ has to put her back in place. This causes some issues between the two. I found that the scenes were so well written that when Champ told her off I felt so bad for Lauren and I wanted to jump through the book and bop Champ on the head. Then when he felt bad for hurting her I would get all mushy and forgive him too. As I have previously written I am only new to the MC world and at times I have to remind myself that what happens in this world is not what you see in other romance genres and the violence is part of it and is accepted here. In saying that it was nice to see Champ struggle with it too. Made me like him that much more. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I loved the ending "happy sigh"

Unleashed Vol 3 review

Review:

Ok, so I know I said this about Vol 2 but this book just got better again. The sex gets steamier, the light BDSM jumps a notch or two as well. Declan really pushes Kara to her limits but it is hot as hell to read. In this Volume Declan and  Kara make it to New York for Kara's week of submission and service to Declan. Their relationship is no longer black and white with them both starting to have feeling for the other. Of course the story ends on a conflict but that is to be expected leading into the final part. In all of the other books in the series we have jumped back and forth from past to present and Declan and Kara. This book is set in present time but is still from both POVs. You get to see a softer more vulnerable Declan and a jealous Kara.There are a lot of sex scenes in this book so if you are looking for a tame read this is not for you.  I am truly hooked and need to know how this is going to end.

UnderCovers by Kayti Mcgee Review

This book is one of the best reads I have had in a while. The story is about a first year teacher Melissa and an undercover cop Spencer. This could have been your run of the mill boy meets girl romance but it was just so much more than that. It was so funny and the way it was written it was like you were in on all the jokes. The characters were so relatable too, there is so much of me in Melissa there were times when I wondered if the author knew me. I think it makes the story a whole lot nicer to read if you feel like you could actually be one of the characters in the book. The writing was just so fresh and had me captivated from page one. Spencer is as hot as they come and the sex scenes are steamy and at the same time moving. I wished it hadn't ended where it had, but that is generally my complaint about every great book I read. I could just keep reading and get annoyed when they end. I have already looked at this authors other books and will be adding her to my every growing list of authors to follow.
