Take Me Home - Alison Foster - Review

I received and ARC for Take Me Home by Alison Foster in return for an honest review.

We bump into Tanner in book three of Foster's Scandal series and he was intriguing from the start. When there was mention at the end of that series that there would be more of his story to come I couldn't wait. We already know that Tanner is attracted to one of his clients daughter and Take me Home is a more of a glimpse into that relationship.
Tanner is a pain in the arse to Trista, always finding her when she tries to run away from her difficult family life and bringing her home. Trista dislikes Tanner for always being one step ahead of her but at the same time she is attracted to him.
In Take me home Tanner finds Trista on a stormy night and things get very heated. Tanner has sworn to stay away from women but Trista slips through his defences. Things are bumpy when Tanner returns Trista home but the story ends on a good note. I'm hopeful for a happy every after for these two. I can't wait to read more from these two in the future.

My Review

 

 

This is the second book this week i have read by this author and i have really enjoyed them both. This book had a small paranormal aspect to it also but i do think that you can still enjoy this book even if you do not usually read paranormal books.
In this story Trisha who is suffering from terrible nightmares and has staff dying around her meets and falls for new cop in town Nick. Nick has his own set of issues to work through along with Trishas case which gets scarier and more twisted. You find out at the end who is behind it all and I honestly had no clue who it was and was surprised as the main characters. When there are so many predictable books out there it is so refreshing to find an author who still knows how to keep their audience guessing till the end. Grab this book you won't be able to put it down.
