Under Pressure - Redwood Ridge- Kelly Moran

I am so glad that this author is back and writing she is one of my favourites and I absolutely love this series. Kelly Moran has an ability to write real characters that you can connect with.
Under Pressure is another fantastic instalment in this series where we meet Parker who is kind, sweet and a whole lot sexy and Maddie with a story that will bring you to tears.  These two have a past and when they reconnect it is a long and difficult journey to where you really want them to be. This series is beautifully written and moving and I can't recommend reading this or any Kelly Moran book.

My Review

This is one of those books that I find difficult to review. I loved the idea and the characters but something in the writing just feel short for me. This surprised me because I have read other books by this author and really liked them but there just wasn't the flow I was hoping for. I can't put my finger on what the issue was but it might have been how the characters used each other's names all the time like in every sentence. In normal conversations with people you know you don't use their name every time you talk to them. That aside Blake is an absolute sweetie. I love it when the leading man is a nice guy. Blake is definitely book boyfriend material for me. Then Noelle is a smart, strong female and I love to read those as well. So this book had so much of what I love and could have easily have been a 4-4.5 star read apart but instead it was more a 3.5-4 for me. I think other people might not have the same issues as me and this author is well worth trying.
